THUNDER BAY -- With the hot weather coming to an end, closures of the city’s outdoor pools and splash pads are taking place.
On Sunday, Sept. 5, outdoor pools will close at the end of opening hours, and Prince Arthur’s Landing splash pad will also close Sept. 5 at 8 p.m. Splash pads at County Park, Franklin Street Park and North End Park will close for the season on Monday, Sept. 6 (Labour Day) at 8 p.m.
City staff will perform maintenance on these amenities over the off-season to ready them for the summer of 2022.
