THUNDER BAY -- The city was denied a waterfront pedestrian walkway by CN last year.
Minutes from a Waterfront Development Committee meeting dated June 5, 2014 show that the company denied the city, in writing, a pedestrian walkway on its property.
The level crossing would have been near Red River Road. But the city would have been forced to close its current crossing near Camelot Street.
Administration said it was looking at all options. The city has a chance to appeal the decision or resubmit its application.
