Coleman Hell nominated for pop album of the year

Thunder Bay musician was Juno-nominated last year in the breakthrough artist of the year category.

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay’s Coleman Hell is a Juno Awards nominee for a second straight year.

His album Summerland is up for the Juno Awards pop album of the year. Nominees were announced on Tuesday.

The award show is scheduled for April 2.

Hell, whose hit songs include Two Heads and Fireproof, was nominated last year for breakthrough artist of the year.

He lost out to Alessia Cara, whose release Know-It-All is also nominated in the pop album category, along with Marianas Trench’s Astoria, Shawn Mendes’ Illuminate and Tegan and Sara’s Love You To Death.
