Collision closes Dawson Road

No one was hurt in a Saturday evening crash between a small car and a transport truck reportedly carrying hazardous materials.

Three pumpers and a Hazmat unit were called to the Dawson Road collision, which saw the fuel tank of the transport truck ruptured, forcing fire officials to shut down the busy thoroughfare for three hours while the fuel leak was contained and cleaned up.
