THUNDER BAY — Highway 102 is closed early Wednesday afternoon following a crash.
The Ministry of Transportation is reporting that the highway is fully closed closed between Sistonen's Corners and Ada Avenue.
The ministry said people are asked to use caution in the area, and that traffic control is in place.
No further information is available about the extent of the collision.
Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for the region, warning of snowfall, gusting winds, reduced visibility, and the potential for flash freezing conditions.
Elsewhere in the region, Highway 11/17 is closed between Pass Lake and Red Rock east of the city after what police have called a "serious collision."
