Collision closes Highway 61

A multi-vehicle collision on Highway 61 has left the route temporarily closed and a man with non-life-threatening injuries Police said the pile-up occurred near the train track overpass between Arthur Street and Broadway Avenue on Thursday afternoon.

Police said the pile-up occurred near the train track overpass between Arthur Street and Broadway Avenue on Thursday afternoon.
Traffic is being diverted at this time.

The investigation is ongoing and OPP say updates will be provided when available.

Police remind motorists to drive with caution. Thunder Bay Police have asked motorists to stay off the road if possible.
