THUNDER BAY - At least one person was sent to hospital and one person is in custody following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 61.
The collision occurred just south of the Kaministiqua River Bridge at approximately 4:20 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Several Ontario Provincial Police units were on the scene, as well as Anishinabek Police Service.
One SUV was overturned in the ditch and another SUV had extensive damage to the front end.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, at least one person was transported to hospital by ambulance.
OPP also said one person was taken into custody for impaired driving.
Motorists can expect delays as the investigation continues.
