THUNDER BAY — A two-vehicle crash has led to one person facing impaired driving charges.
Provincial police said officers responded to the incident involving a pair of passenger vehicles on Highway 11/17 and John Street just before 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said the crash did not result in any injuries.
The investigation determined that the driver of one of the vehicles was impaired by alcohol. The driver was arrested and taken to the Thunder Bay OPP detachment for further testing.
The accused, a 57-year-old from Ogoki Post, is charged with two counts of impaired driving.
The accused has been released from custody and is due to appear in a Thunder Bay court in October.
