THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police charged one person with impaired driving after a collision on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were sent to Simpson Street and Northern Avenue at about 10:15 a.m after receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision.
A news release said responding officers observed signs that one of the drivers was impaired.
Police arrested the driver and took her in for further testing.
A 45-year-old woman was charged with Impaired Operation of a Vehicle, Operation of a Motor Vehicle While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus), and Disobeying Order of Court.
The accused appeared in court and has been remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
