THUNDER BAY – The Ontario Conservative Party is turning to a familiar face to square off against incumbent NDP MPP Judith Monteith-Farrell in the upcoming provincial election.

Moe Comuzzi, who finished second in Thunder Bay-Rainy River in 2011 running federally for the Conservatives, and dipped to third in 2015, on Monday confirmed she is set to be nominated in the riding.

Brandon Postuma was the candidate in 2018, finishing third behind Monteith-Farrell and Liberal incumbent Bill Mauro, currently the Thunder Bay mayor.

An official nomination meeting is scheduled for Wednesday.
