A condominium development at the Thunder Bay Country Club and changes to the hotel development at Prince Arthur's Landing will be up for discussion when city council gathers Monday night.
The regular 6:30 p.m. meeting will see an application to permit the construction of a mixed-use building at the Country Club on Golf Links Road, which would contain 80 units. That proposal also includes space to house the golf course's pro-shop, clubhouse, restaurant and banquet facility on a separate lot. If council approves the amendments, the applicant would begin demolition of the existing buildings in October 2011 with construction completed in 2013.
Council will also be asked to approve zoning amendments to the proposed hotel development at Prince Arthur's Landing, including the addition of an eighth floor. The report to council says a hotel chain has been selected by the developer.
Parking at the waterfront will also be discussed.
