THUNDER BAY -- Personal growth and leadership are among the skills being taught to over 300 students from around Thunder Bay this weekend.
The leadership conference is being run by the Northwestern Ontario Secondary Schools Students Association. The group of mainly Grade 9 high students is gathering at Confederation College. It's a four-day event that uses activities based on trust and communication to help get the participants to gain a particular leadership skills.
The conference also features guest speakers, a talent show and other events over the four days while the students stay at the College residence.
