Conmee Township received some good news from the province’s Good Roads Conference.
The area township learned from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing that it would be receiving an additional $1.2 million in disaster relief assistance for last May's flood.
Conmee's Mayor had already said the township's damages were more extensive than originally believed.
The repairs to infrastructure will get started in early spring.
