The traffic tie-ups continue in the Intercity area, as CN Rail and the city work to upgrade a pair of railway crossings.

The work crews at the crossing on Fort William Road were supposed to be complete by Friday morning.  But as of Friday afternoon, the traffic barriers were still up and the work crews appeared to be waiting to finish the job.

Meanwhile, the crossing on the Harbour Expressway was supposed to be closed starting Friday and for a project that would last for five days.

But by 2 p.m. Friday that project still hadn't gotten underway.
