A company that is planning to build a pair of solar energy parks in the Thunder Bay area later this year has finalized a construction deal.
SkyPower Limited has hired Canadian Solar Inc. to build the solar parks.
One solar park is expected to be placed at the Thunder Bay International Airport, with the other on land owned by the Fort William First Nation.
A price tag for either project has not been released.
Skypower officials say the two projects are expected to be completed by the end of this summer.
