THUNDER BAY -- A construction worker was rushed to hospital on Wednesday in critical condition after falling from a ladder and hitting his head, according to an official with Superior North EMS.

The incident occurred in the River Terrace area at about 9:30 a.m.

A Ministry of Labour official confirmed they are investigating the case, but was unable to provide further details about the man’s condition at this time.

She was able to say police held the scene for a period of time following the incident.
