Convenience store robbed

A Waterloo Street convenience store was the target of a robber on Monday during the suppertime rush.

Thunder Bay Police said a clean-shaven male, estimated between 18 and 20, about five-foot-seven and wearing a grey hooded sweater under a blue jacket with a zigzag pattern and a black baseball cap, got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect fled on foot.
