A $487,870 contract is up for award to Louis Pradal and Sons Ltd. for structural repairs and interior improvements at Volunteer Pool on Martha Street.

Administration is also expected to recommend a $242,564 top up for work at Innova Park that would bring the contact to $1.7 million. The city is also looking into a cost sharing agreement with the province for upgrades to the Hodder Avenue and Copenhagen Road intersection at Hwy 11/17.

The estimated $775,700 share from the city would contribute to water main relocation, sidewalk construction, widening of the paved shoulder and lights.

It’s also recommended that council put $886,000 in the 2012 city budget for a new, three metre-wide bridge at Trowbridge Falls Campground.

The bridge would also be moved upstream from its current location. The city would also look for funding partnerships with organizations like the Trans Canada Trail Foundation.
