Concerned residents from Northwood are expected to appear at city hall Monday night.

The group will be speaking about the May 28 flooding and the longstanding and ongoing flooding issues in the Northwood area.

The deputation comes on a night when the city manager will also be addressing the weather event and the aftermath. A go-forward report with strategies and a significant financial contribution will be presented.

There will also be an attempt to change the city's deer feeding ban on Monday night.

The bylaw, which took affect May 1, prohibits people from feeding deer within city limits.  Coun. Larry Hebert wants to see an amendment to exclude the Mission and McKellar Islands.

Hebert said he believes the majority of his fellow city councillors will support him on this issue on Monday night.
