THUNDER BAY -- Council will get an idea of what it would cost to get rid of snow at the end of driveways after crews plow the roads.
On Monday, they'll also hear about how and why ice built up on certain roads and sidewalks after a storm last month after several councillors raised concerns. Roads manager Brad Adams will also address steps the city can take in the future.
Adams will give council information on what it would cost and what changes to the city's plowing operations would need to be changed to try and eliminate snow at the end of driveways, known as windrows, after plowing city streets.
Council will also hear an update on its Urban Forest Management Plan, originally approved in 2013 and receive a report on fuel truck routes through the East End. That report comes after residents around McNaughton Street raised concerns about truck traffic in the area.
