THUNDER BAY -- Councillors will have to wait until budget meetings to discuss a 20-year wastewater strategy.
The financial plan, part of which is recommended in this year's budget and includes a sewer surcharge jump from 75 to 90 per cent of the water rate, will now be discussed Feb. 10 after city council referred it Monday night.
"It's going to be a long night then," Coun. Andrew Foulds said after asking whether he should hold his questions and concerns until next week.
