THUNDER BAY -- The President of the Thunder Bay Country Club says the organization will defend itself against the lawsuit's it's been named in.
Contractors who have worked on the Club Residence Condo project at the Country Club allege they haven't been paid for the work they performed.
One company, Magest Building Systems, is seeking more than $6 million.
Club President Gil Labine says they too have been left waiting for payments from the developer. They're seeking more than $100,000 for alleged rental arrears.
The Country Club Board of Directors will meet next Tuesday to determine how to get the stalled condo project re-started.
Labine adds that options include finding a new developer to take on the development.
