(THUNDER BAY, ON) – On Monday, June 20, 2016 at approximately 8:40 pm, officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped the driver of a Dodge truck on Dawson Road for a traffic violation.
The officer spoke with the driver and determined the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was transported to detachment for further tests.
A 40-year-old man from Ware Township was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Operate a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 mgs of Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code.
He is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on August 12, 2016 to answer to the charge.
