THUNDER BAY – A COVID-19 outbreak at St. Joseph’s Hospital has been declared over on Friday by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.
The outbreak, declared March 7, impacted the home’s Geriatric Assessment and Rehabilitative Care Program.
Prior to the outbreak, significant measures were already in place to reduce the likelihood of transmission of the virus within the facility.
Expanded precautions were implemented for the duration of the outbreak.
