THUNDER BAY — An outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared at the Chartwell Glacier Ridge retirement residence in Thunder Bay.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit announced the outbreak at the Jasper Drive facility on Tuesday morning.
The health unit said it has initiated a thorough assessment of the situation, and that further measures will be taken as required to manage the situation.
According to the TBDHU COVID-19 online dashboard, there are currently eight other publicly disclosed outbreaks in high-risk settings in Thunder Bay.
