An assistant Crown attorney in Thunder Bay remains on leave as she awaits her next court appearance.
Karen Scullion is facing charges that stem from an alleged drinking and driving offense.
Officials with the local Crown attorney's office say Scullion was already off on leave before the incident occurred in the spring.
That leave will continue until the case is resolved.
Scullion is due back in court in October.
