About 600 municipal workers have accepted a new collective agreement with the City of Thunder Bay.
CUPE Local 87 members had been without a contract since January 2011 and have been bargaining with the city since last spring.
According to a new release issued by the union, the membership fought off major concessions and will receive a modest wage increase in each year of the four-year agreement.
Neither officials with the union or city were available for comment on the new deal.
