THUNDER BAY – CKPR’s Danny Foresta, of the Danny and Laura morning radio show, will spend the next 12 hours in a trunk.
The radio personality is inside the trunk at the Performance Kia dealership as part of the Drive Change Day 2015 event. The event is a fundraising initiative for the Regional Food Distribution Association and the United Way.
During Drive Change, CKPR will broadcast live from Performance Kia from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
For every $5 donation you can receive a ballot for a chance to win a grand prize of four tickets to see Ed Sheeran Live at the Excel Energy Centre in Minneapolis. That prize comes with hotel and $500 cash.
That grand prize will be drawn on Aug. 24.
A Cheque presentation will be made to the RFDA and United Way of Thunder Bay at 5:30 p.m.
