THUNDER BAY - The developer of the former Dawson Court nursing home on North Algoma Street hopes to have students moving in soon.

Work has been ongoing since Ahansul Habib took ownership and allowed its re-purpose for student housing.

Habib believes there is enough demand to fill most of the building.

“There are separate rooms, and there are common washrooms, showers and common spaces that they need,” Habib said.

“It fits really well with student housing.”

Habib had previously stated a shuttle service would be established to transport students to the college or university.
