A Thunder Bay car dealership is making a large investment in its operation.

Officials at Balmoral Park Acura are spending $3 million to expand and improve their sales and service office.

The dealership was first opened by Jack Witiluk in 1987. It's since become a family business, and it is now undergoing a major upgrade.

The dealership invited the president of Honda Canada, Jerry Chenkin, along with other dignitaries to take part in an official ground-breaking ceremony for the project today.

The new dealership will be 30 per cent larger than the original one, and will feature drive-in service for their customers.

The local business is the only Acura dealership between Toronto and Winnipeg.
