KENORA – Police say they do not suspect foul play in the death of a Winnipeg woman on Lake of the Woods.
Police were called to the Norman Beach area in Kenora just after 7 p.m. Monday, after an observer reported a woman unresponsive in the water, Ontario Provincial Police said in a Wednesday evening release.
The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Winnipeg resident Dana Landry.
An investigation by Kenora OPP received support from the force’s North West Region Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Unit.
