Demand for children's services rises

THUNDER BAY - The Children's Centre Thunder Bay is seeing an increased demand for their services.

Chief executive Diane Walker said the organization is serving more people than ever, with more than 3,000 families utilizing programming or counselling from the Children's Centre last year.

The annual report showed the number of speech and language therapy cases has nearly doubled.

That growth has resulted in the organization undergoing a restructuring of services to meet the growing demand.
