THUNDER BAY – It may be National Dog Day but at the city’s animal services, this week belongs to the cats.

Thunder Bay Animal Services issued a public service announcement late Tuesday that the Cat Days of Summer adoption week would run until Saturday, Aug. 29.

Individuals looking to bring a cat home will pay $50 during the week, which is about 50 per cent off the regular rates.

The PSA states that all adopted animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.

For more information, visit Animal Service Centre in person at 882 Allow Pl., or call 684-2156.
