MARATHON, Ont. -- A transport truck driver has been charged after a highway collision near Marathon involving another transport.
Officials with the OPP say the crash took place at about 11 p.m. Sunday on Highway 17 when the truck driver lost control and rolled over at the bottom of a hill.
The second transport couldn't stop in time and slammed into the truck.
Police say two people suffered only minor injuries.
Police charged the driver of the first truck with failing to drive in a marked lane. The crash resulted in a partial closure of a section of the Trans-Canada for several hours Monday morning.
