Driver charged with stunt driving after getting busted going 120 km/h in 70 km/h zone

THUNDER BAY -- A 19-year-old’s need for speed is costing him his driver’s license for a week. The driver was pulled over by an OPP officer on Highway 11/17 west of the Harbour Expressway at about 10:20 p.m.

THUNDER BAY -- A 19-year-old’s need for speed is costing him his driver’s license for a week.

The driver was pulled over by an OPP officer on Highway 11/17 west of the Harbour Expressway at about 10:20 p.m. Friday night after getting caught going more than 120 kilometres per hour in a posted 70 km/h zone.

He has been charged with stunt driving.

His driver’s license has been suspended for seven days and his pickup truck has been impounded for seven days.
