(THUNDER BAY, ON) On June 25, 2015 at approximately 11:10 am, officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Thunder Bay Fire Department, and Superior North EMS responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Chippewa Road and Highway 61.
The driver of a Dodge Dakota was west bound on Chippewa Road when the driver experienced a medical distress.
The driver crossed Highway 61 and came to a stop in the south bound ditch.
The driver did not suffer any injuries caused from the collision. The vehicle sustained minimal damage.
The driver was transported to hospital by ambulance due to the medical distress.
