THUNDER BAY -- One driver drew a bit of unwanted attention when preparing to cross the border this weekend.
Just before 10 a.m. Saturday morning a car heading south on Highway 61 towards the Pigeon River border crossing hit the median before striking a Canada Customs sign.
The 66-year-old driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
She has been charged with careless driving.
