A driver who fled a single-vehicle crash in Oliver Paipoonge Friday morning has been located and sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials with the Thunder Bay detachment of the OPP said officers responded to a crash scene at about 8 a.m. Friday on Highway 11/17 near Pebblestone Road.
Officers found a woman at the crash scene who had been suffering from minor injuries.
She's since been released from hospital.
That morning police announced that they were still looking for the suspected driver involved in the crash. Around 1:30 p.m. police say the suspected driver contacted them.
The investigation is ongoing.
