Driver without licence charged after fatal highway crash

A 60-year-old man is dead following a highway crash in Greenstone Thursday.

Greenstone area OPP say the fatal collision took place around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, just west of Geraldton on Highway 11.

The crash involved a commercial vehicle and a pickup truck. The 60-year-old southern Ontario man who was driving the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say another man suffered what are being described as non-life threatening injuries.

Police charged the driver of the commercial vehicle with driving without a licences and having expired insurance.
