Driver's vehicle impounded after complaints lead to failed breath test

OPP Media Release 

(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On July 9, 2015 at 9:30 pm, officers of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complainant an erratic motor vehicle on the 200 Block of Scott Street in the Town of Fort Frances.

Officers located the motor vehicle in the west end of Fort Frances.

The driver, Aron GEARY, age 39 years of Fort Frances was showing signs of impairment. He was arrested at the scene and transported to OPP Detachment for breath tests. The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for the mandatory 7 days.

The driver was subsequently charged with,

-Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
-Having Over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of Blood

He will appear in Fort Frances Provincial Court on August 24, 2015.
