DRYDEN -- Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a number of fires deemed suspicious in the Dryden area.

In a release issued early Monday morning, police say no loss or personal injuries have been reported as a result of the fires, which they have attended along with the Oxdrift Fire Department.

However, much of the surrounding area has been deemed high risk for forest fires.

The Ministry of Natural Resources is conducting and investigation.
