Dryden break and enter suspect arrested

DRYDEN, Ont. – A 19-year-old Dryden man was taken into custody in a connection with a break and enter at a First Street residence.

Dryden Police received a 911 call from a resident around 7 p.m. indicating that a man was trying to kick the door down of their residence.

The occupants of the home fled out the back door and called police.

A second call described the same man banging on other homes in the area.

Dryden Police conducted a search of the area until a 19-year-old man was taken into custody.

He remains in custody and will appeared at a bail hearing in Sioux Lookout on Monday.
