Dryden crash kills three

Three people are dead following an early-morning motor-vehicle collision on Highway 17 east of Dryden. Ontario Provincial Police say they responded to the crash at just after 1 a.m..

Three people are dead following an early-morning motor-vehicle collision on Highway 17 east of Dryden.

Ontario Provincial Police say they responded to the crash at just after 1 a.m.. All three deceased were travelling in the same vehicle, Two occupants of the other vehicle sufferd non life-threatening injuries.

Police are not revealing the identities of the victims, pending notification of next of kin.

Officers from Kenora and Ignace are assisting with the investigation, as well as technical collision investigators. 

The crash closed the Trans-Canada for about six hours. Traffiic is now open to a single lane.
