DRYDEN, Ont - It was a short lived escape attempt for a prisoner at the Dryden Courthouse Wednesday.
According to Dryden Police, a 26-year-old man was before the bench for a bail hearing, when he attempted to flee from the courtroom.
He didn't get far though, before being apprehended by court officers.
The Rainy River man is now facing an additional charge of escaping lawful custody.
