DRYDEN, Ont. – A 15-year-old has been charged with dangerous driving after being caught speeding early Saturday morning.
Dryden Police Service observed a small SUV exiting an alleyway and Cross Cecil Avenue at a high rate of speed on Saturday, April 6 around 1:50 a.m.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but were unsuccessful.
At 4:47 a.m. police observed the same vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Grand Trunk Avenue.
Both Dryden Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled from police again.
As the investigation continued, the 15-year-old was identified as the accused in this incident.
On Wednesday, the youth was arrested and charged with dangerous driving and flight from police.
The youth is scheduled to appear in court on May 7.
