THUNDER BAY -- A 27-year-old Eabamatoong man who under investigation over his ties to a native gang has been taken into custody.
Nishnawbe Aski Police say James Waboose was arrested on outstanding warrants at a Thunder Bay residence.
The arrest was made by the NAPS guns and gangs unit, which is charged with detecting and combating gang activity in First Nations communities.
Waboose remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
