THUNDER BAY – A quick response by local firefighters saved a North Archibald Street home early Monday morning.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue firefighters arrived at the 200 block of North Archibald at about 4:30 a.m. after reports of an apartment fire.
There was heavy smoke reported on the scene, but otherwise the apartment unit sustained little damage.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
The cause is still unknown, but firefighters believe the incident was cooking related.
