THUNDER BAY -- An early morning fire has destroyed a home on Highway 588 near Nolalu.
The blaze broke out around 4 a.m. Friday in Lybster Township, and required fire crews from several volunteer fire departments to get it under control.
Officials with the Nolalu department says a working smoke alarm helped ensure no one was injured.
The Ontario Fire Marshal's office has been called in and an investigator is expected to arrive Saturday.
