Easter Seals Ontario Media Release
Thunder Bay, ON, August 18, 2015- The 13th annual Easter Seals Celebrity Roast will make Vince Mirabelli, Real Estate Broker, RE/MAX First Choice Realty, this year’s Roast ‘victim’.
This year’s Roast will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Victoria Inn in Thunder Bay, tickets are $150.
Since 2003, the Easter Seals Celebrity Roast has raised over $500,000, with proceeds going to help families of children with physical disabilities in this community and across Ontario.
Past honorees include: Tom Jones, Gordon Crompton, Cliff Friesen, Dr. Stewart Kennedy, Colin Bruce, John Trevisanutto, Bill McCracken, Jack Mallon, Michael Power and Trevor Mikus, Roberta Sawchyn and Bruno Niederer, Kathy Harris and Clint Harris.
For 93 years, Easter Seals has played an important role in providing support for children and youth with physical disabilities from all ethnic and religious backgrounds.
Thanks to its generous donors, Easter Seals continues to offer programs that allow kids to experience freedom, independence and a sense of accomplishment.
Easter Seals helps by providing financial assistance for mobility equipment, communication devices and summer camp opportunities at its two fully accessible properties, Camp Merrywood and Camp Woodeden.
