Environment Canada forecasting double digit temperatures this weekend

THUNDER BAY – After a prolonged winter, it looks spring might finally be on the way. Environment Canada is forecasting temperatures to reach double digits this weekend, starting with a daytime high of 14C on Friday.

THUNDER BAY – After a prolonged winter, it looks spring might finally be on the way.

Environment Canada is forecasting temperatures to reach double digits this weekend, starting with a daytime high of 14C on Friday.

That is expected to be followed up by daytime highs of 15C on Saturday and 16C on Sunday.

So far in April, the temperature has yet to exceed 5C.

The warmest day of the year so far was on March 12 when the daytime high was 16C.
